The Romanian training market
2011 has seen the birth of a new stage in the approach of people development. All major players on the Romanian market have redefined their strategy and criteria for “buying” training and other related services. The one thing all of our partners share in this respect is the ever-growing attention paid to demonstrating the value of people development interventions. No more training budgets used for team “gatherings” without any agenda or purpose other than “fun” – every RON is spent only after thorough analysis of the possible return.
Another important factor today is the possibility to access EU funding, a possibility very much sought after by all Romanian companies – although bureaucracy still makes it challenging to materialize.
The market conditions are still far behind what they have been until 2007, but nonetheless there are several signs of recovery, the most important of which being the increased preoccupation of companies for finding the right match between their redefined needs and expectations and the training provider.
