Develor is represented in Egypt through a new partner, Bashar Al Safadi from 2011.

Bashar combines over 30 years of experience as an engineer with extensive involvement in management, training, facilitation and coaching. Following his graduation in 1981, he began his career as a field engineer with Schlumberger, a leading multinational Oil Field Services company. After three years of fieldwork he was assigned as an instructor at the regional Schlumberger training center. His strong leadership and interpersonal skills soon singled him out for the management of several field locations in the Middle East and South America.

In February 1992, he reached a Personnel staff position of at the Schlumberger Wireline and Testing Services Middle East headquarters. Concurrently, he held the position of Regional Training and Development Coordinator.

In December 1995, he returned to Egypt and joined Environmental Quality International (EQI) as the Director of the Environmental Management and Design Department. During that time he was in charge of coordinating the company’s environmental projects concerning water and wastewater treatment, air pollution, solid waste management, environmental impact assessment and Sustainable Development Tourism.
In June 97 he co-founded the Microstate Corporation [Fairfax/Virginia USA] and established Microstate Mideast Ltd. in Egypt. Microstate.com pioneered Internet based publishing and destination marketing for small states. Microstate developed a Java based web-authoring tool and was heavily involved in the development of dynamic database driven web sites for the Internet and enterprise-wide Intranets/Extranets. Microstate "folded" in June 2001.

In 1998, Bashar co-founded Global Management Services and in 2005 Global Manpower Services "GMS". GMS provides recruitment, outsourcing, event management, organizational development and consultancy services to national and multinational companies in Egypt and the Middle East. Since 1998 he attended several Train the Trainer courses and certification programs. In December 1999, he established Omni Services to deliver training, business consulting and workshop facilitation and systems/relationship coaching services.

In 2010 Bashar designed a soft skills development workshop for Schlumberger Integrated Project Management “IPM” business segment. This workshop has been incorporated in the field engineers “fixed step” development training curriculum. It is currently being delivered in Schlumberger learning centers in France and the USA.

Bashar is qualified as a Master Trainer of DOOR Training International, Master Facilitator of Celemi business simulations, Systems/Relationship Coach by the Center for Right Relationships. Resource Intercultural facilitator for Pricoa International Relocation.

Bashar’s organizational development approaches have proved successful locally in the Middle East, and internationally in Europe, the Far East and South America. In August 2008, Bashar received the Persona International’s Egyptian Top Trainer Award for his contribution in the field of organizational development. Bashar is multi-lingual. He is married with two children and currently lives in Egypt.
